If you ever owned your own computer at some point you had to deal with hardware that dies at a particular time. Often many people do not know what end is still wrong, but only their work and the computer will not boot. Oddly enough, when you actually try to start the computer, it beeps a few times, and suddenly displays a message ... "Operating system not found".
Luckily for us, but actually quite easy to replace a damaged disk. Most of the time the only tool you'll still need aPhillips screwdriver. After these steps, you can replace the hard drive in no time! So here they are ...
Unplug the power cord from the back of the computer. Once the power is disconnected, unplug all other cables and wires from the computer.Place the computer tower on a table stand, or provide easier access to the computer.Locate the two screws holding the cover on the side of the computer. Some computers, like Dell, a handle or button pressRemove the computer that the page you share, without any screws.Remove the cover and page from which you way.Unless ordered more than one hard drive for your computer, most computers come with only one hard disk. Most of the time they are at the point directly below the CD-ROM or DVD player. Older computers use IDE drives, and newer computers use SATA drives. IDE is easy to recognize because it has a fairly broad attachment of the cableDisk with the mother board. SATA on the other hand, uses a number of smaller cable operators. Both have some form of cord attached to them. This is usually a small white plastic socket for IDE, and an even smaller black connector for SATA. Once you go to know what you all you need to buy a new hard drive, which is the same as the old drive.At this point you can disconnect the old hard drive. Disconnect the cable yet.Install the new disk into the slot and screw it back downright. Once the new disk is available, disconnect the first cable from the old hard drive drive.Attach this cable to the new hard drive, the last cable drive.Disconnect and add it to the new HDD drive.With both cable is connected, you should able to replace the cover and screws onto your computer case.Re reseal-attach any cables to the back of the computer, connect the power cord to last.Install a new copy of Windows on your computer and you should as a new product. Most computercome with a kind of disk that is for you reinstalled Windows. Simply turn on your computer, the hard drive as quickly as possible, and it should receive a message asking if you want to boot from the CD. The Windows installation is pretty easy after that.
If you are replacing a hard drive, rather than other things like a vidoe card or modem, a piece of cake. Most everything else just kind of a slot makes the most of the hardware work a breeze.
