How To Build A Computer From Scratch

Learning how to build your own PC from scratch, a very difficult task if you know nothing about computers. However, if you learn how to do it and understand exactly what to do, it is actually quite entertaining off the ability to build and easy to strip the old or new PC's. I would like at this point the basic components of a computer was and learn how a computer from scratch to build on again.

PC Components

The most common PC components, youmust be available: mouse, keyboard, hard drive, floppy drive, RAM chips, sound and display monitor, power supply, motherboard and then. I assume that you know what each of these components will look like. If you are unsure about some of the components just search for pictures of them on the Internet and you will see what they are.

Connection Process

First, you should consult with the mother board and the mother board mounting plate work. First, gently screw on the motherboardthe mother board plate with the grooves or screws, which have provided with the package or kit. Once this is done, you need to insert the CPU (Central Processing Unit) into the slot on the motherboard. Sometimes, these CPU socket has a lever that you need to gently release that opening, so take note. Slide the CPU into the socket to ensure that the pins on the back slide right could otherwise damaged. You can now leverage the clip back in, andensure that it is safe.

Now you need to install the heatsink on the CPU chip. You can see that the CPU already comes with the heatsink / fan for you to appropriate in the event that you can read on. You should now be the cable from the small cooling fan combined with the appropriate connector on the motherboard to give him power.

The next step consists of the RAM chips in their respective slots, the long and thin body. Once this is done, you can mount the motherboard mounting plateon the side of the computer and screw / slip through, so that they are properly installed.

The power supply is the next component to deal with. The field of energy is usually on the back of the PC case and that is indicated with screws that are not occupied. Try it and has stuck maneuver around the corresponding holes before you screw logged in. The power supply fits on a key-system connection is in the power slot on the motherboard, a floppy port, with theis inserted in the floppy drive and a few standard peripheral power connectors (red), yellow and black wires that are connected to hard drives and CD-ROMs. You need the hard disks, CD-ROMs and floppy drives, and mount it in conjunction with the connectors Ensure that the red wire is addressed to any power to the inside in the direction of the motherboard. I'll explain why below.

So now we move forward to the two connectors on the motherboard as the primaryand secondary IDE ports. You will notice them as they are with rectangular brackets around them. These ports are used to connect the hard disks and CD-ROMs in touch. The cables that you are connected to these two connectors 40 pin IDE cable with 3 connectors are on each cable. Make sure you connected the longest part of the cable to the IDE ports. You need the primary IDE cable from the motherboard to the hard disk (s) and the secondary IDE port to connect to your DVD-ROM to a connectionYour motherboard. If you use this IDE cable connector into the CD-ROMs and hard drives make sure that the red wire strips are side by side with the red wire strip of power outlets that are connected to those devices. Refer to manual if you have to figure out how to use the various jumper to switch between Master and Salve drives on each port. This way, you can choose which primary and secondary drives.

Now that the power supply to the motherboard and connected thevarious other components that you need to make graphics and sound card slots into their connectors. Once this is done, you need the front panel connectors to the corresponding LED lights up, join, that you receive your lights when the computer starts. If this fails, leads to non-functioning of the system.

Finally, make sure everything is connected properly. This includes the external mouse, keyboard, monitor cable and power cable so that the computer is switched on and working properly. IfEverything is well done, it should be okay.

When I learned how my first computer I used to use a computer building video tutorial that showed me how to build all the above in finer detail. If you want more information on this product, please visit the website below.
